It’s GNU/Linux

Caxradonya 1.0 "Sate Matang"

Caxradonya is a modification of Lubuntu (Ubuntu‘s fork that uses LXDE as its graphical user interface).  Therefore, Caxradonya uses the Ubuntu’s repositories. You can work with Caxradonya at office and home.

The name Caxradonya is taken from a bell called “Cakra Donya” (means the World Bell) given by Admiral Cheng Ho to the Kingdom of Samudra Pasai (now part of Aceh, Indonesia) as a gift from the Emperor of China.  Cakra Donya symbolizes friendship, freedom and adventure. Those three things are similar to the philosophy in the open source world: the community that give support and share knowledge; the freedom to copy and modify software without paying the license; and the experience to use the software in  your languages and profiles.

    Hello,

I’m writing to you on behalf of Open Invention Network (OIN) because I believe you want the Linux environment to tremain open and free. As OIN was was formed in an effort to keep Linux open and free I thought you would be interested in learning about and joining us.

There is no cost to join and many distributions and others in the Linux ecosystem have joined (KDE e.V. and Mozilla are just a few of the most recent). They have joined because they see patent issues are a danger to their freedom to innovate and, since OIN’s objective is to minimize/eliminate these threats, they decided to join our community to help protect Linux.

I would be pleased to send some additional information and, of course, you can learm more at our website.

I thank you for your time and hope that Caxradonya will join us to keep the environment open and free.

    Cheers,

    Frank Casey
